Instructions for use - d2mondo LITE
Please take 15 minutes to go through the instructions below, then you'll be good to go!
Firstly, you must log in to your site (top right of your site navigation menu).
Secondly, your admin menu will appear above the blue site menu (look for
the butterfly, as below), allowing you to create a custom design and add content.
So let's have a go!
- Site design. Use
the Design editor to re-skin your site in real time; add backgrounds,
banners and change all the colours using the intuitive colour wheel.
Click on 'Design' now and have a try.
- Music. Create a
Discography by uploading Tracks (mp3 files at 320 kbps) and adding them to Albums,
with artwork and lyrics. Click on 'Tracks/Add a new record', fill out
the details. Once you have one or more tracks loaded, Click on
'Album/Add new record', fill out the details, add some tracks, and et
voila, you have music ready to display and sell.
- PayPal - selling music. Use your
PayPal account to collect your money from mp3 music sales. Click
'Profile, top right, and scroll down to the 'PayPal section, and add
your details. Visit our 'Help/FAQ' area on http://d2mondo.com for more
information on the Paypal set up.
- Blogging. Write
your Blog for news and views and fan feedback. Blogging is easy; Click
on 'Blogs/Add new record, and add text, images, links, and you're done.
The Blog list is generated automatically, with the latest showing first.
- Events and Gigs.
Create a Event list with details of each individual event. Click on
'Event/Add new record', and scribble away or embed flyers, just like the
Blog, but you also can add event date/time, and a link to your ticket
reseller. Like Blog, the Event list is generated automatically.
- Biography. Write a Biography. Click on 'Biography', add a title, maybe a photo, and get writing. Easy!
- Newsletters. Use
the Newsletter Sign-up to capture fan details. This feature sits on
your Homepage and Biography page, it allows your fans to give you their
email addreses so that you can contact them with all your news and
activities.
- Social networks.
Add links to your social network sites. The familar social networtk
buttons can be removed or set up to link to your own social pages. Click
on 'Profile', scroll down to 'Social links', and add your details.
Buttons without details will not show.
Common questions
Q - what if I don't want to have Events, or Blog or whatever? How can I remove these?
A - Each of the features can be turned on or off easily, meaning you
can remove them from the menu and the site pages, and bring them back if
you want to. Go to 'Profile', scroll to the bottom of the page, and
select the features you wish to add/remove. That's it!
Q - Can I change the main feature on my homepage?
A - Yes. You can select from the following: Latest Music release /
Latest Blog / Latest Event / Biography. Click on 'Profile', scroll down
to 'Set your homepage ...', and make your selection. Done!
Q - What if I don't want to use PayPal to collect money - do i have any other options?
A - Currently, PayPal is the only payment solution for LITE. If you want
to integrate other payment providers you will need to use PRO or
Enterprise versions of our service. If you need more info on this, go to
