Do you take a cut of sales?
We take a small percentage of each transaction made in your shopping basket.
This is 10% of the gross price - we do not include any shipping/postage costs in this. For mp3 sales it is 10% or 5 pence, whichever is the highest.

How do I get paid for the stuff I sell?
Payment goes directly into your PayPal account. We don't touch your money.
How do I pay you?
Each month we invoice you, with the amount owed and with the details of how to pay - just follow the link to our PayPal account - it's really simple.
What other charges or deductions do I need to know about?
PayPal makes a per-transaction charge (check with your PayPal terms to see what this is). Because of the PayPal charge we encourage the sale of albums and bundles, rather than single downlaods, so as to maximise your profit margin, and ours. Review the PayPal 'micropayments' service - this works best for smaller transactions.

Do I have to use LITE before I can go PRO?
No. LITE is recommended as an entry-level toolkit and so if you've not used full-scale Web CMS before, it is the best place to start.PRO is a serious piece of kit, and the learning curve is steeper (a couple days, rather than a couple hours).
Are there any third-party adverts displayed on my site, like on MySpace?
No. We discontinued that version of the software. We do reserve the right to use adverts on the free versions of the platform, but we have no immediate plans to implement them, and if we do you'll have plenty of notice.
Is there a limit to the number of products and amount of content I can create?
We do not create a limit, but we do operate a 'fair usage' policy, to protect the community of users against, well greedy unfair usage. See our Terms for more details.

Do I have to use the myname.d2mondo.com address, or can I have myname.com?
Yes, you can have your own name, it is simple to set up. Details are supplied upon registration, and if you get stuck, we'll help.
Do you supply an email service?
We supply a email opt-in service, and you can use the reports section to get the names of your sign-ups. We recommend the use of value services such as mailchimp, for doing that email blast to your fans and customers.
